Caster hardware is an important part of your wheelchair and unfortunately, it's not maintenance free. Keeping the crud from building up around the caster spacers and bearings is essential for prolonging the life of the casters and/or bearings. Occasionally cleaning out unwanted debris can make a big difference with the performance of the chair and longevity of the parts. It's a good idea to replace these caster screws from time to time as the phillips head can get a little worn and start to slip when tightening and untightening. DME Hub also recommends keeping some extras around in case ever lose one.

Really appreciated
One of the screws holding the wheel to the axle went missing. A tiny item but very significant. I was basically grounded, as the wheel could potentially fall off if used on the street. DME Hub had this specific part and sent it out immediately. Great service, and what a relief! The correct part sent in a timely manner.
