The Ride CAM wedge kit is useful for adjusting the Java Cushion for ischial tuberosity clearance. When using both wedges together, it allows for adjustment in sitting height of the ischial tuberosity, CAMS are typically used before considering the well inserts. The Ride CAM wedge kit can also be used to help correct a pelvic obliquity. In the presence of a flexible and correctable pelvic obliquity, up to two CAM Wedges can be used on the low side of the obliquity to promote a more level pelvis.
If the user experiences change in the general condition on the cushion, the Ride CAM Wedge Kit can be used to restore the effectiveness. The wedges also allow for adjustability and adaptability. The Wedge Kit allows for adjustment of the skin protection qualities of the cushion. They also adjust the cushion for ischial clearance and can be used in asymmetry to help correct flexible and pelvic obliquities. The user may insert the wedges and then trim them flush with the cushion base. The inserts are soft, breathable and adjustable.
