Unlike the commonly used anodized or painted handrims that tend to show the wear and tear of everyday use, these textured stainless steel handrims hold their finish and stay looking great. The stainless steel material is corrosion resistant and has superior temperature control allowing the handrim to stay cool to the touch even in hot sunshine. The textured outer surface helps add a little extra grip to your push. Plus, no need to worry about that unwanted black film transferring to the hands which tends to be a common occurrence with aging anodized handrims.

    Expensive But Pleased

Posted by Scott S. on Oct 4th 2020

I finally had a chance to replace my anodized handrims with these stainless steel ones. I was looking for something that wouldn't wear out in a few months and had less friction (heat) when going downhill. I personally like simple and compact, making it easier to get through narrow doorways as well as keeping the weight to a bare minimum. So far, I'm pleased with these new stainless steel ones. My only complaint is the $$$$ price tag (almost $400 for a pair seems a bit much).
