DME Hub highly endorses Out-Front handrims. If you need coated handrim for a little extra grip, the Q-Grip is your answer. Not only does it give you the anti-slip grip you need with every push but it's made from a super durable, tear resistant, neoprene material designed to outlast any vinyl or foam coated handrim on the market. Are you tired of replacing cracked and pealing coated handrims?
Give Q-Grip a try, you won't be disappointed.

Q-Grip neoprene handrims
Great grip but dust and fibers cling to the rubber

Q-grip Handrims
The increase in not only traction/pushing, but aiming precision is quite impressive. I'm comparing these to Natural Fits and OEM aluminum basic rims. It takes much less effort per yard of pushing than any of those. I have two reservations: about the Q-grip rims: 1) Braking on a downgrade will likely require gloves because the friction level is so high which results in discomfort your hands 2) If you have to negotiate tight spaces frequently, where bumping into furniture or other obstacles is a given, then understand that the coating on these is fairly fragile. Maybe not as much as vinyl covers, but still tender. However, the increase in push ability is well worth it. If you have repetitive motion issues, shoulder/arm/wrist issues, the Q-grip rims can make things easier on you.

Amazing Grip
As a quadriplegic, I depend upon the grip level these push rims offer. When I first tried them, I was absolutely shocked. The power and control I had compared to previous push rims was second to none. In short, they are amazing - adds even more mobility when needed the most. In terms of durability, the material is soft. If you hit a sharp corner, or something abrasive, they can be damaged. My push rims lasted about a year or better before they started to break down. With all that said, I am on my second set that I just ordered. They are quite expensive, but it is very much worth the grip level and control that provides me even greater mobility. 6/16/17 Update: After nearly a full year of use (my 2nd set now), I am more than pleased with the performance and durability. I have been a bit more careful regarding cutting corners and sharp edges, and I have no cuts or tears with these push rims. Overall, very happy!

Good buy
These are a really good version of the standard coated handrim. The rubber is nice and tacky. Very easy to push. Haven't had them long enough to comment on durability yet.
